It is the first comic series I read from Planet of the Apes franchise. Enjoyed reading it and looking forward to reading more from the franchise.
The art looked good. Some of the panels were a little confusing and I could not make sense of them (Maybe cuz I haven’t read other series).
The politics between various factions were not detailed enough. Addition of a map would have been beneficial for readers.
The series was good at exploring the relationships between different sentient species. The generalization of gorillas and angry and xenophobe did not make sense. There should be xenophobes and xenophiles in all the species. Similarly, chimps were shown as scientists and learned. There should be wise and dumb in all the sentient species.
The ending was a cliffhanger. And urges the readers to get their hands on other books of the series.
