My Rating: ⭐7/10
Warning: Contains spoilers
Final Destination 2 was very similar to its sequel. The death
scenes were even better than Final Destination. The road accident premonition
was better than the plane accident premonition. The way the lottery winner died
was the best death in the movie.
When someone’s friends die while the person is driving them
somewhere, I would expect the person to feel depressed, or feel sad, or at least
feel regret. But in the movie, the character immediately goes to thinking about
their own death and absolutely no grievance for the loss of friends which feels
a little unnatural.
The cop locks up a pregnant woman just because of a theory.
Movies shouldn’t be glorifying the misuse of authority like that.
Why does Kimberly think Rivers should be helping her? Why is
she calling her a coward? Who gave her the authority to judge other people? Why
shouldn’t people be free to make choices for themselves?
The hand BBQ scene at the end was funny.
